A popular blog and Instagram dedicated to off-the-beaten path travel, remote work and other alternative ways of living, founded by Katie in 2013.

Katie started The Travelling Light in 2013 as a travel blog and Instagram account full of unique places to discover in our world, interviews with creatives and her personal journal, all photographed and documented by Katie as she traversed the globe freelancing online as a digital nomad.

We have always created everything for The Travelling Light blog and brand in-house at The Light Studio, from the logo to the website design, development and subsequent refreshes, to the writing and photography, social media strategy, and even an exhibition in Paris and accompanying zine.

The blog and Instagram account have been featured in many of the world’s biggest media outlets including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue Italia, New York Magazine, Conde-Nast Traveler, Forbes, Travel + Leisure and more.
